About Katie Croonenberghs
Katie is a fantasy artist based in the Pacific Northwest specializing in fantastical creatures with strong roots in our natural world. Works often depict dragons living in their natural habitats from grand scenic vistas to deep forests. Other mythical creatures and wildlife make many appearances in her fully detailed paintings.
Traditional media will always hold something special that cannot be perfectly replicated in any way. This love for the texture, the wildness of the paint and the challenge of bringing the artwork to life drives her to always seek the magic and thrill of creating a new piece.
